► There is no age limit to participate in these races;
Details :
► Participants will not be officially timed;
► Participants must still wear the chip and have a bib with number for safety measures;
► Start time for open waves is not specific – participants can start their race whenever they want, within a set 15-minute block, to avoid large crowds starting at the same time;
► Results will be provided in ALPHABETICAL order with COMPLETED.

*JUNIOR : Competitors must have reached their 16th birthday before the end of the calendar year (1st January – 31st December) in which the season ends.
**U23 : U23 women and U23 men must be no older than 22 during the calendar year in which the season ends.
Sanction Description : this sanction allows skiers who are FIS or Nordiq Canada license holders, to accumulate points in the National [Canadian] Ranking (CPL) – (Canadian points). Those wishing to participate must have a FIS or Nordiq Canada license to accumulate points. It is in the license holders’ interest to enter this race to increase their national ranking points.

WAXING AREA
It is important to wax your skis before arriving at the event site.

BURSARIES & PRIZES (men and women)
A SWIX Classic headband will be given to all participants of the 27 km race.
► Best over-all time for each distance, men and women.
► In 2023, 20 bursaries are offered to participants with FIS/Nordiq Canada licenses participating in this race in the Junior & M/U23 category, for a total of $5,400.

AWARD CEREMONY
Skiers must be present to receive the bursaries or prizes. The bursaries or prizes will be awarded at the official medal ceremony (podiums) to be held at the Ski Show when the results are official at approximately 1:30 p.m. Medals must be claimed during the weekend. Results will be posted in the Ski Show and live on the web.
Medals will be awarded for each age category.
