Due to the weather conditions from last weekend and to the forecast for Wednesday 16 and Thursday, February 17, 2022, which will affect the region, Gatineau Park authorities and the Gatineau Loppet organization have made a concerted decision concerning the 50km linear course. The linear course starting from P17 will not be used for this 44th edition of the event.
Option A – SELECTED
Minor damage to the trails in the south/west part of the Park
(south/west of P11).
- 27 km
Use of the regular course
(see maps on courses pages for 27km Classical Technique and 27 km Free Technique)
- 50 km :
Use of the contingency course based on the old 50 km course minus the portion North of the intersection of trails 1 and 1B (includes trail 24). Deducting the 3.3 km portion north of the intersection of trails 1 and 1B, the distance of this new contingency course will be just under 47 km.
